An explosion occurred during welding work at the Elginsky coal deposit, resulting in fatalities. This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The explosion occurred on September 26 at a backup pumping station. The number of fatalities has not been disclosed. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
